Hi, I'm Toby the creator behind Cloud Crystals. My journey into jewellery and treasures is deeply rooted in my love for nature, discovery, and the magic of the earth.

From a young age, I was fascinated by finding things - whether it was fossils, crystals, or little treasures hidden in nature. Some of my earliest memories are are of visiting Aust in Bristol with my geologist uncle, searching for fossils and collecting rocks. I even had a small crystal collection as a child, always drawn to their beauty and energy. 

My love for creating started when I went to art college, where I discovered wire sculpture. I fell in love with the feel of the wire, the way it could be shaped and formed into endless possibilities. But it was during the covid lockdown that everything truly came together. I deepened my connection to crystal healing and witchcraft, and that's when I learned about Scottish crystals. Fascinated, I set out on my own local adventures, exploring the hills near my home. To my amazement, I found fossils and beautiful yellow calcite crystals right on my doorstep.

After lockdown, I continued to travel, searching for natural treasures. One of my most special finds was on a beach where I discovered stunning agates and sea glass. This sparked a new passion for beachcombing, and soon, I was combining and these elements - Crystals fossils, sea glass, and wirework - into unique jewellery and creation. 

For me, making cloud crystal pieces isn't just about jewellery; it's about connection. It's about capturing the wonder I felt as a child, the healing energy of nature, and the magic of finding something special. Crafting these pieces has played a huge role in my own mental health recovery, and I want to share that joy, peace, and healing with others. 

Each piece I create carries a little bit of adventure, a little bit of history, and a whole lot of love. I hope they bring you as much happiness as they have brought me.
